- INSTRUCTIONS AND GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Eligible individuals should apply using the specified form found on the FBR website at https://fbr.gov.pk/jobs-vacancy-announcements/142246/131361. Applications for vacant posts in the Federal Bureau of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad should be sent to the Second Secretary (HRM-IR-V), FBR (HQ), Room # 103, Constitution Avenue, Sector G-5, Islamabad, and applications for vacant posts in the Directorate of Research and Statistics (DR&S), Islamabad should be sent to the Deputy Director (Admin) Directorate of Research and Statistics, CDA Block No.
- Candidates applying for multiple positions should submit separate application forms in different envelopes, properly labelled with the post and department they are applying for.
- Under Rule 15 of the Civil Servants (Appointments, Promotions, and Transfer) Rules, 1973, vacancies must be filled by those who live in the province or region in question.
- With the application form, please include attested copies of your CNIC and all other applicable documents. At the time of the interview, candidates will be expected to provide original documents (Educational and Experience Certificates) as well as one set of authenticated copies of such documents.
- Contract employees (BS-01 to 15) appointed under the Prime Minister’s Assistance Package for the families of Government employees killed in the line of duty are also eligible to apply for the above positions (if they intend to apply). They will only be considered if they apply formally for the position.
- If the circumstances warrant, the FBR reserves the right to not fill any position or to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
- Candidates working in government departments/organizations should submit their applications through the correct channels and have them received in the appropriate head office before the interview date.
- In terms of Establishment Division, a five-year general relaxation in the upper age limit has already been included in the column of age limit. In addition to the government’s 5-year general age relaxation, the following age relaxations would be permissible under Establishment Division.
- The minimum and maximum ages will be determined as of the application deadline.
- Within one year of their appointment, the selected candidates for the positions of Assistant and UDCs/LDCs must complete a basic IT training course (including MS Office) conducted by NITB for 06 weeks and 03 weeks, respectively, or their services will be terminated in accordance with the Establishment Division.
- The information on the Application Forms will be checked. FBR maintains the right to cancel any person’s candidature at any time (even after employment, if fraudulent or counterfeit information is discovered subsequently) and to take legal action against the candidate.
- All candidates will be allowed to appear in the test/interview on a provisional basis, pending a thorough examination of their eligibility during the recruiting process. Only those who have been short-listed for the test/interview will be contacted.
- There will be no TA/DA for the Test/Interview.
- The deadline to submit an application is October 11th, 2021. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
